Further training Once you have completed a foundational course, you can do further training to give you specific skills for the work God has called you to (though further training is not necessary for joining YWAM full-time). YWAM runs many schools worldwide to develop the abilities and gifts you need on the mission field. Here, we list further training schools offered by YWAM UK&I. School Of Frontier Missions (SOFM) Prepares you to take the gospel around the world to those who have never heard it, including a two-year placement with an existing work among an unreached people group. Available in: England, Scotland Strategy Coordinator Course (SCC) In one month, learn how to design and implement creative strategies for seeing the kingdom of God established among an unreached people group. Available in: England School Of Evangelism (SOE) Get to know God better, and be equipped to take the gospel to people who have not yet understood who God is. Available in: Scotland School of Urban Missions (SUM) A three-week school to equip and inform workers in urban settings.
