Our foundational, discipleship training programmes are intensive introductions to Christian lifestyle and evangelism. Whether it be for six months or 11 months, they are geared to help you get to know God more and have the opportunity to make Him known. All our foundational courses include YWAM’s Discipleship Training School (DTS) curriculum of 12 weeks’ study and a 12-week outreach. Once you have completed your foundational training, you can go on to further training or long-term work with YWAM. |

The Regular Discipleship Training School (DTS) The classic form, tried and tested the world over. The outreach phase of 12 weeks gives experience in strategic evangelism and mission, usually in a cross-cultural context. Available in: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales Crossroads DTS (CDTS) YWAM is not just for youth! Aimed especially at those 35 and over, a Crossroads DTS is a time for spiritual renewal and an opportunity to gain insight into God’s purposes for the rest of your life. Families welcome. Available in: England DTS with a Community Development Emphasis Particularly for those with an interest in or calling to community development. The outreach will take you to work in a community development setting, probably in Africa or East Asia. Available in: England |
